Long-pass dichroic mirrors are also called cold mirrors, abbreviated as “cold mirrors”, and short-pass dichroic mirrors are also called thermal mirrors, abbreviated as “hot mirrors”, which can minimize the effect of infrared radiation causing heat focusing.
